I was raised by my grandmother because when my father died my mother left me on her door step and left. coming up I always wondered who my mother was because no one in my family had pictures. I was told my mother was dead. They knew she had a son somewhere but, not where he was because soon after my mother dropped me off, my grandmother moved. This day and age you cannot really know anyone including your closest relatives. In the old days you knew a person’s family and friends. However these days’ times have certainly changed. Now people are keeping to themselves and pulling up roots to follow work. Today society no longer offers safety and ease of close community relationships. Today, technology offers a way to meet and communicate with people from all walks of life on a global standard. We find ourselves building relationships with people we never met.
