baby memory book?
i have 9 weeks left before ma lil man will be here…
to pass the time i am creating my own memory book rather than buying one.. you know the ones where you stick photos in and have a family tree etc
I was just wondering if anyone had one of the shop bought ones that they could just flick through and tell me what there is in there for example first photo page first day home page etc would me more than thankful
Wow, what a lovely idea, I wish I had thought of that.
The first page of mine has a place to put a picure of mum and dad before baby arrived, the next has a gap for a scan picture.
Names picked/who picked/meanings
Birth details, weight, length etc.
first day home (with a picture)
first night, how it went.
visitors, gifts
then it starts to progress over the first year
has a page for dates of jabs, sight/hearing tests, child hood illnesses etc
there are then 4 pages for pics of baby at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months with a gap underneath for you to write progess etc.
There is also 2 pages, one for babies hand and footprints when they are new born and then another for when they are 12 months. It is brilliant, I was only looking back at my sons last night and can’t believe he was that small (he is 28 months today!)
First special occasion, which I used for Christmas
a chart showing the order of which the teeth came
A picture of bath time, in pyjamas, with fave toy, with a friend etc
then it ends with 1st birthday.
I think that is it, I will come back to you if I can remember more!
